I, TOO, AM AMERICA | PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION 2024
Six entertainment industry figures from marginalized communities participated in a public service announcement encouraging Americans to register to vote. This campaign, organized by the media consultancy ICON MANN, aired 48 times on the Revolt cable network from September 17 to 29. The participants include producer and director Ali LeRoi, known for creating Everybody Hates Chris; Tony-winning actress Anika Noni Rose; Grammy-winning singer and actress Estelle; actor and activist Jason Butler Harner; actor and producer Michael Ealy; and Emmy-winning, Oscar-nominated actress Shohreh Aghdashloo. Titled "I, Too, Am America," the announcement draws inspiration from Langston Hughes' 1926 poem "I, Too," which celebrates the diversity of America.
